Numerological reading is based on the theory that each number has a unique vibration, which gives it certain properties. These properties can shed light on a person's personality, their behaviour, predict their future and help them on their path to their true destiny and purpose. In the real world, arithmetic is known as numerology. According to numerologists, everything in the world depends on the mystical properties of numbers.
These properties come from the inherent vibration of numbers. Other new age practitioners use the term vibration to describe beliefs in the power of elements such as crystals, gemstones, colours and essential oils. In their study of mathematical concepts, the Pythagoreans classified numbers into categories. Numbers such as 1, 4 and 9 were squares because a corresponding number of dots or pebbles could be arranged in a perfect square.
1, 3, 6 and 10 were triangular, because one, three, six or ten dots can be arranged in regular triangles. Two, six and 12 were oblong, as the corresponding number of pebbles formed rectangles.
Numerology
is the belief that numbers play a role in human destiny. If so, the study of numbers should be able to account for good or bad events in human life, assess a person's strengths and weaknesses, predict future events and suggest remedies against the detrimental effect of certain numbers.Numerology is the pseudo-scientific and pseudo-mathematical belief in a divine or mystical relationship between a number and one or more coinciding events. It is also the study of the numerical value of letters in words, names and ideas. It is often associated with the paranormal, alongside astrology and similar to the divinatory arts. As you may have gathered, numerology is the study of the meaning behind numbers.
More precisely, it is the interpretation of the vibrational energy of numbers into meaning, which is where the science behind numerology lies. The meaning associated with numbers provides insight into a person's character, passion and mission in life. Numerology is based on a person's date of birth and name, based on which many predictions are made. The popular belief is that the vibrations of a number relate to the letters of the name, marking their destiny.
People use the same to find out about jobs, relationship status and other things about their future. I will continue to post more such articles on Numerology, stay tuned until then, you can check out my other blogs in the Numerology category on the Occult Science home page. The science of basing a person's characteristics on the vibrations that are connected to the numbers still perplexes me; but when I tested my numbers, I found that there were similarities behind their prediction of my characteristics and my actual characteristics. The best known example of numerology in science has to do with the coincidental resemblance of certain large numbers that intrigued such eminent men as the mathematical physicist Paul Dirac, the mathematician Hermann Weyl and the astronomer Arthur Stanley Eddington.
I'm not sure if I could consider numerology as a science yet, or if I believe it would be able to accurately determine my destiny or my characteristics. As I watched, I was curious to know if there was objective evidence behind numerology or if it could pass as pseudoscience. This is what numerologists will find when describing "one of the most basic sciences in existence". Although the practice of numerology is not considered a science in itself, the core theories on which it is based are derived from scientific principles.
The foundations of the science underpinning numerology incorporate physics, metaphysics, transcendental physics and geometry. Consulting a professional numerologist will help one to understand the real science behind the numbers associated with your life and the effect of those numbers on your future. There are many cases I can give from my own life where I get the real result of this science and after spending and learning this wonderful science almost a decade I came to the conclusion that numerology and other sciences like it work on the human mind and its destiny. Numerology may not be considered a science as such, but there is evidence of the science behind numerology.
The guest on his programme that day was a woman called Glynis McCants who specialises in the "science of numbers".
